Drill down in the chart
Open the report report builder and locate the chart.
Select the school or chart segment you want to review.
Right-click inside the chart area.
This is important.
The drill option only appears when you click directly in the chart.
Select Drill Anywhere or Drill.
Choose the field you want to drill into.
Save the drill-down as a bookmark
After the chart updates, open Bookmarks.
Select New Bookmark.
Enter a clear name.
Save the bookmark.
Return to the previous view
Use the back arrow, up arrow, or reset option in the gray toolbar above the chart to move back up a level.
Open a saved bookmark
Open Bookmarks.
Select the bookmark you created.
The chart will automatically return to that saved drill-down view.
View the underlying data
In the gray toolbar above the chart, select the icon that shows the chart data in table form.
This is useful when users want to see the actual records behind the visualization.
