In EZAT, navigate to the Bids tab.
Click the + Bid button to add a new bid period.
This opens the Bid Period Form.
Select the first day of the bid period. There are two ways to do this.
Type in the date in the First Trip Begin Date field:
Or select the date from the calendar:
It is important to note that two bid periods cannot overlap.
Then, select the last day of the bid period. Again, you can do this by typing the date into the First Trip End Date field or using the calendar tool to select the end date.
Now, you'll want to select the Opening Bid Date & Time. This is the day & time when drivers can start bidding for trips within the trip start and end dates.
The Opening Bid Date field works like the previous date fields.
For the Opening Bid Time, you can type in the time or use the arrows to select the correct time from the time selection tool.
Next, select the Closing Bid Date & Time.
Select the Date to Assign Drivers. You can also add a comment for your drivers.
This takes you to the Summary. You will also be asked if you want to schedule multiple bid periods automatically. If you select Yes, you will be taken to automatic scheduling.
If you select No, you will only create the current bid period.
Once you've made your selection, click Review.
You will be given another chance to review your summary. If the dates look correct, click Accept & Submit.
You should receive a confirmation message that the bid period was created successfully.
